Regulations for Preparing Motorcycle Parts for Wrapping at FOOQS
To ensure the highest quality of motorcycle wrapping services, please review the following guidelines:
1. Service Cost
- The wrapping service price includes labor related solely to the application of vinyl film to motorcycle components.
- Material costs (vinyl films, decals, graphics kits) are calculated separately depending on the client’s selection (type of film, finish, color, design, etc.).
- The price does not include any preparation work such as cleaning, polishing, paint correction, or removal of old decals.
- All parts must be properly prepared prior to delivery; otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse the service.
2. Accepted Parts
- We provide wrapping services exclusively for fairings and motorcycle components suitable for vinyl application, meaning parts that are:
- free from mechanical damage,
- without cracks, abrasions, deep scratches, or paint chips.
- If significant damage is detected, we reserve the right to refuse the service.
3. Technical Condition and Cleanliness
- Parts intended for wrapping must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased.
- The fuel tank must be completely empty, and the filler cap opening and vent must be sealed with protective film and tape.
- Please note that any imperfections, scratches, or paint chips that have not been repaired beforehand will remain visible beneath the vinyl layer and are not subject to claims.
4. Shipping of Parts
- When shipping, motorcycle parts must first be wrapped in fabric (e.g., cotton cloth), and only then protected with bubble wrap or stretch film.
- Omitting the fabric layer may result in surface marks or paint damage, even on relatively new painted components.
5. Full Custom Motorcycle Graphics
- For full custom motorcycle graphics projects (e.g., race-style liveries), the complete assembled motorcycle must be delivered first. This allows for accurate sketching, layout positioning, and precise graphic alignment.
- This ensures that all panels and components align perfectly as one cohesive design.
- After sketches and templates are prepared, the motorcycle may be collected, disassembled, cleaned, optionally repainted, and the individual parts delivered again for wrapping.
6. Condition Documentation
- All received motorcycle components (applies to shipped parts) are photographed upon arrival. The images are shared with the client to confirm the condition and surface state prior to the wrapping process.
7. Commencement of Work
Wrapping work begins only after the client has accepted these terms and conditions.
Acceptance may be provided in one of the following forms:
- by signing the statement: “I have read and accept the terms and conditions”,
- in writing – via email or SMS message.
Verbal or phone confirmations without written confirmation are not accepted.
