How to apply stickers on a motorcycle?
Sticker application instructions.
Basic guidelines for applying printed stickers.
- Proper Temperature
According to the manufacturer's recommendations, sticker application should take place at a temperature above +8 degrees Celsius.
During application, avoid strong sunlight and leaving stickers in the sun to dry. Optimal conditions for application are in a warm and shaded area.
- Dry Paint
Wait a minimum of 3/4 days after painting your motorcycle. Evaporating solvents can lead to the formation of bubbles. Stickers can be applied both on top of the paint and beneath it. Originally, stickers on the tank are covered with clear coat. In other stickers, the role of clear coat is taken over by UV laminate, which reinforces Fooqs stickers.
- Wet Application
An ideal way to position a sticker in the right place. Applicable to all stickers except for wheel rim stickers and gel-like ones, such as tank pads and cap pads.
Prepare a sprayer containing water with dishwashing liquid (several drops of detergent per liter of water).
Spraying the surface of the fairing and the sticker with the prepared solution will make the sticker glide on the surface, making it easier to position.
Motorcycle Sticker Application - Step by Step
- Degreased Surface
Clean the area where the sticker will be placed with either denatured alcohol or water mixed with dishwashing liquid.
- Sticker Preparation
Spray the location of the sticker with a mist of water mixed with dishwashing liquid.
- Application
Moisten your fingers with the prepared liquid and peel the sticker off the paper backing. Spray the adhesive side with the prepared liquid and place it in the pre-prepared location.
The water between the sticker and the surface of the element allows for easy positioning of the sticker - you can freely slide or reposition it if it's in the wrong place.
- Excess Water
Use a rubber squeegee wrapped in fabric to push out the water trapped between the sticker and the adhering surface.
Note! Do this thoroughly and repeatedly. Unexpelled water is the most common cause of bubbles forming beneath the sticker.
Use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process. Allow everything to dry.

How to correctly apply a tank pad to the fuel tank?
Easy application of a 3D sticker.
1. Thoroughly clean the area of application with dishwashing liquid.
Never use ethyl alcohol or silicone-containing liquids.
The minimum application temperature is 20°C / 68°F.
2. Apply the centering sticker precisely in the middle of the fuel tank.
3. Gently cut the centering sticker at the point where the tank pad will be located.
Note: Cut carefully to avoid damaging the paint.
4. Apply the sticker by aligning the centerline of the transfer sticker with the centering stickers at the top and bottom.
5. Press the sticker down with smooth movements from the inside to the outside.
6. Remove the transfer sticker and the centering stickers.
Applying stickers to motorcycle rims.
1. Clean the rim from any dirt or debris.
2. Degrease the rim, preferably with alcohol.
3. Align the sticker without sticking it.
4. Use a hairdryer - for larger stickers.
5. Press the sticker along the rim.
